 On behalf of all at The Chesterfield Post, I would like to pass on our Best Wishes for A Happy Christmas to all of our readers.
I would also like to send special and warm wishes to all our Troops serving abroad and experiencing Christmas away from their families and loved ones. Chesterfield is thinking about you all!
The Mayor of Chesterfield, Cllr Peter Barr, Cllr John Burrows, Leader of Chesterfield Borough Council and Chesterfield FC Manager John Sheridan have also added their good wishes and we reproduce them for you below.

The Mayor of Chesterfield, Cllr Peter Barr (left) said, "I'd really like to wish the people of Chesterfield a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.
"The town is still showing the signs of being buoyant - the town has a lot of vibrancy that other towns can learn from and hopefully next year will see Chesterfield continue to thrive."
Cllr John Burrows, Leader of Chesterfield Borough Council (left) said: "We wish all our residents a peaceful and happy Christmas and we're looking forward to an exciting and hopefully, a prosperous year ahead for the borough."
Chesterfield FC manager John Sheridan (left) also added his wishes to our readers, saying, "I'd just like to wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas and A Very Happy New Year."
