Chesterfield Civic Society News

Monday 11th July 2011

Chesterfield Civic Society is a group which meets at the Eyre Chapel on the 2nd Tuesday of each month to hear from guest speakers.

The Chesterfield Civic Society

The Society aims to promote a sense of citizenship in the town, which includes helping to support the preservation of buildings and areas of natural beauty.

It also encourages and supports regeneration in town centres and scrutinizes planning applications to make sure planned architecture is suitable.

It has now published it‘s first newsletter which we are delighted to feature.
