Chris Grant has been appointed Chairman of Derbyshire County Cricket Club following the Annual General Meeting at The County Ground.
Phil Kirby was appointed Vice Chairman and Derek Morgan formally announced as the new President.
David Griffin and Malcolm Nicholas were the only nominations for the positions of Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer and so were elected unopposed.
The results of the Committee Election were as follows:
Elected for a three year term:
Don Amott (339 votes),
Chris Grant (330 votes),
Tony Borrington (282 votes)
David Booth (277 votes).
David Skipworth will serve a one year term after gaining 254 votes.
Trevor Island (199 votes) and Ian Leslie (111 votes) were not elected.
