Division One There was a top of the table clash at Holmesfield who lost their unbeaten tag to Parkhead. The home side were bowled out for just 116 with J.Woolway claiming 5-16. The visitors then went on to claim a seven wicket victory to take them to the top of the table with Helliwell hitting 56. Champions Millhouses / Works had an excellent home win over Sheffield University Staff. The visitors batting first posted a useful 204-7 (D.Needham 83, B.Sampson 4-68). The home side lost seven wickets in reaching their target with B.Everitt again amongst the runs with a fine 88, Woods hitting 47. All rounder Kale performed superbly in Hathersage's win at Hundall. He took 5-65 in the home side’s 197-9 ( C.Pursehouse 63) and hit an unbeaten 90 in the visitors reply of 198-5 ( J.Ovensen 46). Hollinsend Meths returned to winning ways in an exciting game at the Beauchief ground of De La Salle. The home side batting first made 174-9 (M.Turner 46, R.Sharp 4-35). The visitors claiming a narrow one wicket win at 176-9 ( M.Gayle 4-57) Sheffield Centralians posted a three wicket win at Apperknowle. The home side were all out for 156 ( N.Hibbert 46 no). The Centralians bowlers, Parkin 5-31 and Scholey 4-19 did the damage. Scholey hit an unbeaten 44 in the visitors 157-6 with Schofield also making a useful 45.
Division Two Weston Park were star performers of the day. They amassed a huge total of 369-7 with Bhojwani 166 and Ravi Ivaturi 103 hitting fine centuries. The visitors Ridgeway were then dismissed for 169. Stocksbridge made it four wins in a row as they defeated previously unbeaten Dronfield Woodhouse by nine wickets. The prolific Ward hitting an unbeaten 69 in the home side’s 125-1 in reply to Woodhouse's 123-6 ( J.Braddock 46). Civil Service are also unbeaten. They bowled out Parkhead 2nd for 168 (D.Spilman 44, D.Mountstephen 40) and raced to a ten wicket victory with Higgins 87 no and Frier 70 no making all the runs. Grindleford bundled out Hallam 3rd for just 56 ( Cornes 6-15) winning by eight wickets. Calver had a useful win at Millhouses Works 2nd. The home side batting first made 182-6 ( E.Coxhead 4-42). The visitors going on to a four wicket victory at 183-6 ( Burnett 47). Ashford slipped up at home to Sheffield Transport. Batting first the home side were all out for 176 ( Paulette 82, Cotterill 7-86). Transport recording a five wicket victory making 180-5 with skipper Slack again amongst the runs hitting a fine 70.
Division Three Baslow maintained their one hundred percent winning start with an easy home win over TRS. Baslow made 170 all out ( R.Powell 4-36). In reply TRS were dismissed for 93. Top bowling came form Mumtaz for Millhouses/ Works 3rd who took 7-46 as University Staff 2nd were all out for 155. Millhouses Works had posted an earlier score of 179 ( Sheikh 46) to give them a 24 run victory Shardlows were all out for 74 this was after Stocksbridge 2nd had posted what appeared to be a low total of 87. Sheffield Collegiate 4th 161-8 ( Bishop 72) were beaten at home by Totley Sports who hit an impressive 219-9 ( Birks 75, Zulferic 69) Whittington Wanderers 118 ( Holmshaw 5-23) couldn't reach Richmond's total of 150-9 ( Pattman 81, D.Whiteley 5-65).
Division Four Top scorer in this section was J. Bowman of Sheffield Zingari who made an impressive 146 out of the home side's 203-4 ( S.Park 4-12). The visitors Apperknowle 2nd were then sent back for 105. Another centurion was Mohsin Ali who scored 109 out of Totley Sports 2nd 263 all out. De La Salle 2nd were then dismissed for 114. Hathersage 2nd 152-4 had a six wicket win over Coal Aston 3rd 151 Sheffield Centralians 2nd 126 ( G.Bramwell 5-43) lost to Chesterfield Barbarians 2nd 208-6 ( A.Keightley 76, Shah 4-60) Youlgreave Lodge 112-6 ( J.McMahon 53, D.Greengrass 5-36) had a six wicket home win over Hundall 2nd 111
Division Five Sheffield Medics racked up an excellent 309-7 at home against Hallam 4th Chesterfield Barbarians 3rd 148 were defeated at home by Baslow 2nd 149-3 ( T.Sadler 83 no) Ridgeway 2nd 136 Were beaten by Woodhouse 139-5 ( L.Smith 49 no, P.Burke 4-18) Civil Service 2nd 95 found league leaders Sheffield Collegiate 5th tough to handle as they replied with 99-5 Stocksbridge 3rd 146-3 ( M.Howe 91 no) had a seven wicket home win over Ashford 2nd 140 ( B.Murfin 7-58)
