Karl Krikken's young Derbyshire outfit face a Surrey side likely to feature England internationals Steven Davies, Vikram Solanki, Gareth Batty, Jon Lewis, Chris Tremlett and Jade Dernbach with a 4.40pm start at the County Ground.

The match will be the Falcons' fifth of the season in the one-day competition as the race for semi-final positions continues.

One adult and two juniors can attend for just £15 while the price for two adults and two juniors is £20, if tickets are purchased in advance.

The Yorkshire Bank 40 fixture, sponsored by Bell & Co, will be screened live on Sky Sports with live images and replay action on the big screen at the ground

Family Fun activities will be on offer - as well as the attendance of a fire engine, smoke house simulator and fire prevention team, following the launch of a groundbreaking Community Partnership between Derbyshire County Cricket Club and the Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service.

Family Fun activities will be on offer - as well as the attendance of a fire engine, smoke house simulator and fire prevention team, following the launch of a groundbreaking Community Partnership between Derbyshire County Cricket Club and the Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service.The new relationship between the two organisations will see the County Club assist the Fire Service in raising awareness of fire safety practices such as "Don't get caught out - test your smoke alarms weekly".

This awareness drive will start with a fire engine, smoke house simulator and fire prevention team in attendance throughout Wednesday's half-term floodlit encounter which starts at 4.40pm with an expected finish at 10.25pm.

Derbyshire Director of Partnerships Ryan Duckett said: "We are delighted to embark on a mutually beneficial partnership with Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service.

"They are available to respond to calls across Derbyshire every minute of every day, their vehicles are seen by thousands and their community work is extremely valuable to the safety of our local community.

"It's great that we can use our supporter engagement to help spread Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Services' safety messages; and we look forward to welcoming their hard working fire-fighters to the County Ground."
