Friday 28th January 2011
Alfreton Town are this week preparing for their FA Trophy third round tie at near neighbours Mansfield Town a week on Saturday.
It may be shaping up to be a gruelling run in to the end of the campaign, but for now the Reds are left without a fixture until the Trophy test on Saturday February 5th.
After a much-changed Reds side went out of the Derbyshire Senior Cup on Tuesday evening, falling to a 1-0 home defeat against Glapwell, Nicky Law's side will get eleven days rest ahead of what now becomes the biggest game of the season.
The Reds had last Saturday's Blue Square Bet North game at Worcester City postponed due to a frozen St George's Lane pitch and they are without a league game this weekend due to the demise of Ilkeston Town.
Supporters should note that tie has been made all-ticket for visiting fans by the Stags and Alfreton have been allocated 909 tickets for the North Stand away end at Field Mill.
Mansfield Town FC is also advising any Reds fans without tickets not to travel on the day.
TICKETS:
Tickets will be available from Thursday, January 27th onwards.
They are priced at £12 for adults, £6 concessions and £2 for under-7s but only if accompanied by a paying adult.
Reds' fans can purchase tickets either by calling in at the Impact Arena between 1pm and 9pm on Friday, January 28th and between the same hours on Monday, January 31st to Friday, February 4th inclusive.
The ground will also be open for ticket sales on Saturday and Sunday (January 29th and 30th) between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
However, Reds fans should note ticket sales at the ground are by cash only.
Alternatively, tickets can be ordered by contacting the ticket hotline on 01159 392090 extension 107 from 9.30am Thursday, January 27th onwards.
Telephone orders can be purchased by either cheque, postal order or credit card but can only be made Monday to Friday and between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. No weekend calls will be taken.
Alfreton Town are also providing official transport to and from the Mansfield game for supporters at a one-off bargain cost of £3 per person return with no concessions.
The departure time from North Street for these coaches will be announced over the next few days.
Coach seats can be booked at the same time as ordering tickets for the tie either on the ground or via the ticket hotline number.
Should a replay be required against Mansfield Town in the Trophy, this will be staged at the Impact Arena on Tuesday, February 8th (7.45pm) and the scheduled league game at Harrogate Town would be moved to another date.
