Local Chesterfield U12 football team, Somersall Rangers FC, are celebrating the magnificent achievement this weekend of not only claiming their Division Championship for the second year in succession - but doing it without dropping a single point all season!

Playing in the Rosehill Sheffield and District Junior League's (U12) Division F, they have won every game (as they did last year in Division G) scoring 145 goals and conceding only 7 after 22 games played.

To add to that, on Saturday, they also reached the final of the Chad Mansfield and District league's KO Cup to face Clipstone Welfare Colts after defeating Selston FC 1-0.
And the Celebrations begin!
Manager Neil Wells is delighted for the team and is hoping the boys can also progress further in the Sheffield League Cup, where they have reached the quarter final stage and, as if that's not enough, attempt to repeat today's division championship success in the Mansfield league where they currently lie third in Division 2, but with three games in hand on the first and second placed teams.
However, whatever the outcome of their remaining games - today has been a great cause for celebration as they overcame some tired legs and a very difficult game against Treeton Terriers, managing to finish with a hard earned 3-0 victory, securing their extraordinary 100% win record for the 2011/2012 season.
