Kukri has become the Official Kit Supplier of the Derbyshire Schools' Sports Association (DSSA), as part of a new sponsorship agreement.

The new partnership will see all DSSA teams exclusively wearing Kukri clothing whilst playing in any DSSA match or representing the DSSA in regional and national competitions.

As part of the two-year sponsorship agreement, Kukri will donate an additional supply of sports kit to the DSSA each year.

The new-look kit was unveiled with a fashion show at the B2net Stadium in Chesterfield, and includes clothing for teams competing in football, golf, basketball, rugby league, badminton and table tennis.

Individual team managers were given the chance to input into the specification of the kit, taking into account the needs of individual sports, with each design using the red, white and blue from the DSSA logo.

Suzanne Meehan, Chair of the DSSA, said: "We are extremely grateful to Kukri for their support. The athletes look fantastic in their new kit and will be able to compete for Derbyshire with pride and confidence.

"The kit gives Derbyshire a strong team identity, which can only help when our athletes are competing for their county."
