Supporters can pay on the gate on Sunday when Derbyshire Falcons face Warwickshire Bears in Staffordshire's first ever taste of Friends Life t20 action.
 
Advanced ticket sales are healthy for the eagerly anticipated fixture with only the traditional Friday night fixture against Nottinghamshire Outlaws having sold more. But there will be tickets available on the day of the game which begins at 12 noon.
 
The race for qualification remains wide open ahead of the match at Highfield, Leek, where England internationals Darren Maddy, James Troughton, Rikki Clarke, Tim Ambrose and Chris Woakes are all expected to play for the Bears.
 
Current New Zealand international star Martin Guptill will lead Derbyshire's attack with the bat and - on a fast scoring ground where 537 runs were scored in 67.2 overs in the Clydesdale Bank 40 match against Essex Eagles last season - the action is sure to be explosive.
 
Derbyshire fast bowler Steffan Jones (pictured left) is playing his club cricket for Leek Cricket Club this season and he is looking forward to Highfield getting a taste of County Cricket action.
 
Jones said: "As a bowler, I guess I shouldn't be looking forward to playing Friends Life t20 cricket on such a fast scoring ground.

"But I'm delighted for Leek Cricket Club and the local community that they have this opportunity.
 
"Playing at out-grounds is all about taking cricket to a wider audience and I hope the public of Stoke-on-Trent and the Staffordshire Moorlands get behind this venture.
 
"There is plenty of international quality in Warwickshire's line-up but we have proved in matches against Lancashire and Durham already we are capable of playing excellent cricket in this form of the game.
 
"Highfield is a picturesque venue and it will certainly be the place to be on Sunday afternoon. I'm sure there will be an excellent atmosphere."
 
The cricket ground at Leek is situated on Macclesfield Road where the postcode is ST13 8SG. The main entrance is a right turn just after the change of speed limit on the way out of town.
 
To avoid congestion supporters are encouraged to arrive early and to take advantage of the off-site car parking at Leek Town Football Club and Leek Hockey Club which is situated further down Macclesfield Road.
 
This car parking will be priced at £3 and is just a short walk from the ground. Stewards will be on hand to direct the public.
